Damion Boyer - Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

A Mechanical Engineer by training, Damion has extensive experience in the medical field and with start-ups.  In 2014 he left a very successful career in the medical device industry to partner with his former Engineering mentor, John Burke to tackle the leading cause of death globally.  Under Damion's leadership, BBN Cardio has secured a US patent for "...a composition and method to treat of Atherosclerosis..". Damion has attracted a world-class team of physicians to BBN Cardio's Advisory Board and his knowledge of chemistry and physiology lead to the launch of BBN Cardio's NAFLD/NASH program.


John M. Burke - Inventor, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer.

A Chemical Engineer by training, John has been involved with the development of this therapy for 41 years. John has 46 years experience in metalworking manufacturing and is considered an expert in the treatment of oily wastes. John has 8 U.S. patents and has been an instructor for STLE’s Metalworking Fluid Education Course for the past 24 years. John is a Certified Metalworking Fluid Specialist and received the P. M. Ku Award from STLE in 2006. John became a Fellow in STLE in 2011 and is an Associate Editor for the STLE Journal Tribology Transactions. John received the highest service award from the Independent lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA) in 2015 and received an award from President George Bush at the White House in 1991 for advances in waste minimization.

Larry Newton - Chief Clinical Officer.

20 years of biotechnology/ pharmaceutical experience in various leadership roles, primarily focused on novel mechanism of actions therapies in acute coronary syndromes and chronic stable angina;  worked closely with commercial teams to develop launch, post-marketing and market access strategies.  Larry has been instrumental in BBN's pursuit of critical Cardiology partnerships to assist with shaping BBN's ongoing clinical research programs.  Larry's career begain with NASA, Langley Air Force Base, robotics division.

Dr. Robert Kloner, MD, PhD.  - Advisor.

A highly regarded Cardiologist and one of the world’s leading researchers whose work has been cited over 36,000 times. Dr. Kloner is the Director of the Cardiovascular Research at the Huntington Medical Research Institute and is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Kloner joined the Burke & Boyer Advisory board in 2017.
